Welcome to Olive Branch Parrot Rescue, Inc. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charitable corporation and have been established since June 2007. Being a small parrot rescue, we pride ourselves in quality over quantity to ensure a lifetime relationship. Having more one-on-one time with the applicants and parrots creates a more successful, long-lasting home for the parrot's well-being. Some of the parrots we rescue need veterinary care and/or have special needs. These requirements can be very costly, but donations are very much appreciated to offset our operating expenses. Donations are fully tax deductible and 100% is directly used for the parrot's care. The specific purposes for which this non-profit corporation was organized are: (1) The rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted parrots. (2) The placement of rehabilitated parrots into suitable homes, qualified breeding facilities, zoos, or species reintroduction programs.
